About the Artists

Deborah Pearson

Fine artist Deborah developed her skills through watercolor, oils, and charcoal study. Professional a graphic artist for over 30 years, in 2018 Deb devoted herself to exploring mixed-media and collage techniques. Her deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and wild things often informs her subject matter. She loves collage because it uses color, pattern, and texture to explore the depths of images, creating a muted 3-D effect. Each piece of art becomes a revelation of the natural world, piece by piece.

Alexis Hollis

Origamist Alexis fell in love with creating sculptural art through paper. The endless types, textures, colors, and patterns of paper stock are a constant source of inspiration. When planning a project, choosing color palettes and combinations are her favorite part of the process. Envisioning how these motif selections will transform with the folded paper is both a challenge and a joy. Origami jewelry design adds another layer to the artistic process, as each piece is a one-of-a-kind expression of wearable art.
